Job Description

This role will lead all finance and administrative responsibilities reporting to the CEO.

Responsibilities

Finance

  • Oversee and execute the financial management of a start-up preparing for significant growth.
  • Prepare annual forecast and manage the budgeting process.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and all HR/payroll functions.
  • Develop regular dashboards reports to track cash flow, receivables and other KPI’s to analyze financial performance against goals.
  • Oversee the organizations relationships with financial institutions.
Administrative & Operations

  • Manage health insurance and other employee benefits.
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; build out the finance departments standard operating procedures and best practices.
Human Resources & Other Responsibilities

  • Onboard and Offboard employees.
  • Payroll processing and necessary reporting.
  • Manage all insurance policies and variety of other administrative contracts.
  • Provide assistance with recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Proven ability to own all aspects of financial planning and forecasting process.
  • 8+ years’ experience of prior broad financial, HR and operations experience preferably with experience in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, strong knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency with MS Office.
